Fashion on the field

Each year we hold 2 major Fashion On The Field competitions, the first on Tamworth Cup race day and the second on Melbourne Cup race day. Our Tamworth Cup event falls in the Autumn/Winter race season so remember leather or felt millinery is best and our Melbourne Cup event falls in Spring/summer race season so sinnamay and straw is acceptable for millinery. You will find more helpful information below, these are general guidelines that may help you organise your outfits for Fashions On The Field.

We have amazing prizes donated by generous businesses in Tamworth and each year our total prize pool exceeds $2,500 here are a few of our wonderful sponsors.
